Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KNURE) is the higher educational institution in Ukraine of the IV level of accreditation. KNURE is a unique technical university, the only specialized university in Ukraine, which concentrates almost all the specialties connected with information technologies, radio engineering and electronics. More than 12,000 students study in 34 specialties at the university.

Faculty of Computer Science

The faculty trains bachelors and masters, postgraduates and doctoral students in the following specialties:

Faculty of Computer Engineering and Management

The Faculty of Computer Engineering and Management is engaged in preparing students for two levels of higher education: Bachelor and Master, in specialties:

Faculty of Automation and Computer Technologies

The ACT faculty trains specialists and masters in three specialties.

Faculty of Infocommunications

The faculty trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in specialties:
172 – Telecommunications and radio engineering (specialization – telecommunications, infocommunication engineering, information and network engineering).
125 – Cybersecurity (specialization – information security management).
152 – Metrology and information-measuring technique (specialization – technical examination).

Faculty of Electronic and Biomedical Engineering

ELBI faculty trains bachelors and masters in the most relevant areas of modern electronic equipment:
Micro and nanoelectronics (MN) – the basic direction that determines the future of the component base of information technology;
electronic devices and systems (ENS) – systems of control of technological processes, production, information-measuring systems;
Optoelectronics (OT) – the branch of research, design and production of optoelectronic systems for solving problems in information systems and laser devices of wide use;
Biomedical Engineering (BMI), Information Technology in Biomedicine (ITBM) is a modern scientific branch that combines the use of engineering principles and technical means with the achievements of science and practice in medicine and biology.

Faculty of information radio technologies and technical information protection

The faculty trains specialists in the following specialties:

Our university provides housing for foreigners. The hostel is located in the city center, in an area with good infrastructure. The quality and size of the rooms differ. In rooms live from 2 to 4 people. The bathroom is shared and is divided into several rooms. The hostel will provide you with rooms fully furnished with all necessary furniture. Also in the hostel there are common kitchens, gyms, laundries and security. As for the purchase of food and other things, not far from the hostel there are several supermarkets as well as shopping centers. Also nearby are the bus stop or the metro station with which you can easily get to anywhere in the city. The entrance to the hostel is based on student passes. A pass will be issued to the student upon arrival at the hostel. Visitors can stay at the hostel from 8:00 to 23:00.
