National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) is a higher educational institution in Ukraine. Founded in 1615 Placed in the buildings of the historical Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, from which it received its name. During the existence of the university since 1991, teachers are engaged in scientific work in the fields of humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and computer sciences. The history of the educational institution dates back to July 17, 1928. Over the years of its existence, the educational institution has trained more than 40 thousand highly qualified specialists in the field of fire and rescue. Today the university is a modern higher educational establishment of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies with a fully developed scientific-methodical and material-technical base. The University has close links with specialized educational institutions in Belarus, Germany, Poland, Hungary, with which close cooperation has been established.
Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) was founded in 1989 as a private higher educational and scientific institution. IAPM is the biggest economic and humanitarian higher educational institution of Ukraine. Here study students from 39 countries, of 17 specialties, 93 specializations, 8 disciplines. Academy includes Presidential University (Kyiv), Ukrainian University (over 40 institutes, branches and subsidiaries in all regions of Ukraine) and International Open University (International Preparatory Institute in Kyiv, network of IAPM open education centres abroad). The educational process in the Academy is provided by over 2,300 teachers, 70% of whom have Ph.Ddegree.
