The national security includes many components (political, military, economic, environmental, informational and social cultural) and requires qualified specialists who are able to master theoretical and practical material, engage in scientific work and make their own decisions. The military specialists are trained at Ukrainian higher educational institutions, who become officers and commanders of military departments in future. The state institution "Dniprovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" was founded on September 15, 1916, today it is a higher educational institution of the 4th level of accreditation, which is fruitfully working on increasing the prestige of higher medical education of Ukraine and increasing its international authority, significantly influences on the formation of spiritual values ​​and the outlook of their graduates. Interns and clinical interns training is conducted on 22 departments in 39 directions. In addition to citizens of Ukraine, more than 60 foreign citizens study in clinical residency.

Kryvy Rih National University was founded on October 4, 1922, as the Kryvy Rih Evening Workers' College. In 1929 the technical school was transformed into an evening labor institute, and from 1931 - in the Kryvy Rih mining institute. Since 1994 the institute has acquired the status of a technical university. In 2011, the Kryvy Rih State University was established, which was granted the status of a national one. Currently, the Krivoy Rog National University comprises 8 faculties, two research institutes, and six colleges.
National Forestry University of Ukraine is a higher educational institution in Lviv. It is mainly located in New World. The university has more than 5000 students. There are more than 370 qualified teachers at 32 departments. Among them are well-known scientists, Honored Scientists and Technicians, Honored Workers of National Education of Ukraine, State Prize Laureates of Ukraine, Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctors of Sciences, professors, associate professors. The University was one of the first to introduce a graduate system of training specialists, as well as modular rating technology training, new information technology training based on modern computer technology and information networks. The University developed 15 state standards of education in the forestry sector, which laid fundamentally new elements of modern didactics - environmental education.
National Pedagogical Dragomanov University - the year of foundation in 1834. At present, the National Pedagogical Dragomanov offers his various educational opportunities for more than 16,000 students from all over Ukraine, as well as students from abroad, led by 2,500 teachers, 700 of them have a doctoral degree and almost 300 doctors of sciences. The University carries out training of specialists in 50 specialties of the bachelor's degree, 48-education-qualifying levels of a specialist, 52 - a master's degree.
