The profession of electrician is prestigious, promising and well-paid. It has a demand on the labour market, requires accuracy, responsibility and ability to control the situation. The students of Ukrainian higher educational institutions are trained as highly skilled specialists. They study electrical engineering, electrical circuits, operating principles and components of electrical equipment, methods of detection and effective troubleshooting, principles of measuring tools, perform electrical equipment testing and research work. The first thing that an electrician should know is safety regulations when working with electric current. National University "Lviv Polytechnic" - the oldest high technical educational institution of Ukraine and Eastern Europe, founded in 1816 as the Tsisar-Royal Real School.
