To the "Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman", foreigners, as well as stateless persons, who live in Ukraine on legal grounds, have an appropriate educational (educational and qualification) level and have expressed a desire to obtain a higher education. Foreigners and stateless persons who are legally in Ukraine have the right to obtain higher education at the expense of the state budget within the limits set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Other foreigners and stateless persons can obtain higher education at the expense of physical (legal) persons, unless otherwise provided by international agreements, the consent to be bound by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, laws or agreements between higher educational establishments on international academic mobility. All persons who have completed higher education at the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman have equal rights and responsibilities. Admission to the "Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman" on the educational and qualification levels is carried out according to the competition. At the university there is a Russian-language flow, where students can study for the first two years in all specialties, not including the specialties of training "management" and "law" in Russian, while students study the Ukrainian language, which they need for further education. Foreign citizens who do not speak Russian have the opportunity to acquire it during the 10-month training at the preparatory department of the University, after successful completion they can continue their studies at any university faculty or other higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Foreign citizens holding a bachelor's degree may continue their studies in the relevant master's program of the university in Ukrainian or English. Students with a Master's degree in Economics have the opportunity to study at the KNEU graduate school.
