International relations

The major “International Law” is considered prestigious, promising, and the professions in this area (notary, lawyer, assistant judge, attaché, diplomatic agent, etc.) are described as high-paying and highly demanded on the international labour market. The specialists of this area are trained in Ukrainian higher educational institutions. The students study international legal relations, research current development trends, learn to act on behalf of the state and its citizens on the international market (labour market) or judicial institutions. The certified specialists can be employed in public authorities, firms and organizations that provide legal services to individuals and legal entities, open their own practice, carry out consulting and educational activities.

On December 5, 1944, a decision was made to create the "Transcarpathian-Ukrainian University". This resolution provided for the organization of a higher education institution with 4 faculties: historical, philological, biological and medical. In 2000, for the significant contribution to the development of national education and science, the University's Presidential Decree was granted a national status and renamed the Uzhgorod National University with the fourth level of accreditation.
The Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine named after Gennadiy Udovenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (State Statistics Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) is a state educational and scientific institution of postgraduate education that provides training, retraining and professional training for the diplomatic staff and specialists from other state institutions for work in the field of international relations. The Academy was established in 1995 in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On state training of specialists for work in the field of international relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine" dated May 30, 1995, No. 397/95.
In September 2011, DUEP received the status of a classical university and changed its name to the Dnipropetrovsk University named after Alfred Nobel. This once again confirmed the status of the university as a generally recognized NATIONAL LEADER in the field of higher education in Ukraine. Today, the Kremenchug Institute of the Alfred Nobel University of Dnipropetrovsk is a LEADER OF ECONOMIC EDUCATION REGION.
